If JP1.1 is obsolete, it would be easier to name as follows:

JP1
JP2
JP3

There's probably a lot of reasons that you experts say this isn't good, but boy is it simple.

Yes Robman the OEM Yamaha remote does the same thing, but worse. Thanks for the reply. Guess I'll have to learn to live with it.

Thanks, Jack

Two NEC1 upgrades interfere with each other

I have uploaded a zip file that contains a Yamaha receiver RMDU upgrade, a Pansat 2800 Satellite receiver RMDU upgrade, and my current IR file.

Both upgrades use the Nec 1 protocol with different device codes.

Did you use the installer or the zip file to install RM? Does it only happen when you click an RMDU file to open it? If yes to these, I had the same problem with the 1.86 installer exe. I switched to the zip installation, and that fixed it. ..Jack

It could be something as simple as stretching the springs that make contact with the negative ends of the batteries, or maybe cleaning the positive pads that make contact with the positive ends of the batteries.

Good luck.

I can't say enough about thes cables. The craftsmanship is flawless, they work every time you plug them in, the shipping was fast.

Tommy, You've put the fun back in JP1.

My home office computer has my JP1 software on it. Everything is in a folder named 'Remotes'. In that folder are the following folders: IR,RM, and KM. each of those folders have the ...

Thank you all. You've given me many options to choose from, and I'm sure I have enough information now to do something that will suit my needs. I've really never seen much need for radio presets to tell you the truth. I listen to talk radio, 1 ch on AM, and 1 on FM. I thought this would be easy when ...

Yamaha receiver uses 2 codes on 1 button.

Howdy All,

It's been a long time since I bugged you, but I have a problem:

The problem: When the factory remote is on Tuner, the numeric keys select preset stations.

When you switch to any other ...
