That worked like a charm. The duration of a long key press is shorter than that I would have expected, but I am satisfied. Although I did have power macros I did not assign them to the power button as people customarily do, so I had no problems there. I figure I want it macro free because it happens ...

LKP on Dreambox V3 remote

Hello all!

Recently I purchased a 8910 remote from Rob. A very versitile remote that I personally grew very accustomed to. The rest of the family however, still prefers the old trusty and perhaps easier to handle Dreambox remote. Obviously it has a fewer buttons for my macros and so I had to resort ...

Hello again.

I have now tested a series of OBCs, namely 1-16, 23-32, 40-64, 39-128, 139-150. In other words all those with in the range 1-150 not already covered in the upgrade file. I added new functions with a new OBC, then in the buttons tab (of RM) I assigned those to buttons and finally copy ...

My apologies. After further testing I found that in addition the numeric keys also work. So for basic functionality, all that I'm missing are the arrow keys plus OK.

I'm from(in) Sweden too, Rob sent me some remotes May 8 and I got them today, and I am a happy customer.
I live in a remote location where mail delivery is always painfully slow. Even with domestic packages I can almost certainly figure it's gonna be a week.

Happy days are here! dev16 (KM v8.36) worked. All I could ever want at this point is a discrete code for the mute function and maybe even power.

You can go ahead and use the ir file I posted in the diagnosis section.
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=3164 Thank you so much for your kindness. I really hope this will do the trick.

Thank you. Will do first thing tomorrow. One thing though, do I have to worry about conflicting setup codes already stored on the remote?

RM can read KM upgrades, so the selection of RM-compatible upgrades is actually bigger than for KM.

I see that.. now :) With that knowledge I tried a few more upgrade files in RM and added a sony protocol where required but I was still out of luck. Looking around on this forum it seems that it's ...

Whompus, yes I was speaking of RM while using KM. Thanks for clearing that up. The selection of upgrades in RM format is slim but I got one that matched Sony and Amplifier, and now that I could generate code for V3 I had my hopes up but still no go. I also tried changing the device names ...

I did not know RM used the same RDFs as IR and I could not find any settings where v3 could be added.

I selected Dreambox V2 in RM. There is an RDF-file for V3 in IR and it's detected as Dreambox Remote V3 URC-39730 B02. I will upload the requested files to the diagnosis area asap.

I have tried the following setup codes 0158, 0159, 0474, 0220, 0689 found on this page
http://www.hifi-remote.com/ofa/codes-amp.shtml#amp .
Then I also tried (Sony SA-VA35 AMP_0689) , however I couldn't say I'm positive that I got it right, first time using Remote Master. It doesn't seem to ...
