follow these steps :

1- Download the .bin files https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=7236

2- Extract the zip file and place the 4 .bin files in the slingbox SBAV folder . usually it’s C:\Program Files\Sling Media\SlingPlayer\SBAV

3- Download the SBAV.cfg file from ...

sorry for the disturbance , it appeared that the problem was not with .bin file . but with ir blaster .

thanks Mark . it worked fine and i created a RV .bin file .

but the problem is that the code is not working with my friend's european slingbox although we ( me and him ) have identical receivers and i've sent him the same code i am using .

why is this happening ?

yes , i've downloaded it and i placed the 2 new rdfs pk and rv in the rdf folder , but when i start rm i can't find them in the remote dropdown .

i made a .bin file for my receiver using the rm software to work with my american slingbox .

the problem is that when i sent this .bin to my friend who has the same receiver but have the european slingbox the code didn't work and it says "operation failed Error 0x9326001 .

in remote master when i press the layout tab there is ( shift mode ) ,

and my question is how can i use the buttons that i have assigned to use

in shift mode on my slingbox ?

the Slingbox's IR blaster doesn't flash .

the ir emitter on my device doesn't flash when i send the signal with the slingbox

but it does flash when i send it with the 8910

What about the physical position of the ir emitter?

it's in the right position .

1- the ir emitter is working perfectly (i checked it many times )

2- the rm upgrade worked fine on my 8910 ( i reassigned the channel buttons on rm 1=3 , 2=1 . 3=2 to check that the rm output is fine and it worked on my 8910 as i reassigned it )

3- i made the process
ir learning (8910) -> ir (.ir ...

what is "upgarde" and how can i create an RM upgrade for my 8910

note: the same steps i made for the philips remote control (which didn't work ) i made for topfield and it worked perfectly so i don't think that there is a problem with the process .

i only need channels 1 , 2 , 3 power on , volume up and down thats it
and i tried them all and none of them worked .
