LOL

You bastard! ;)

I just can't figure out why a corded unit would function perfectly, from anywhere in the house, but the wireless units get nada.

BTW- Portland rocks! Loving the west coast- which is quite a statement from a former NYC dweller!

Thanks Rob! As soon as I moved the learned function to another button all worked like a charm.

I am now looking into the extender...questions soon forthcoming ;)!

HT-Pro/URC-9811B001 Learning and the Fav Button

Ok- so I am knee deep into JP1 - trying everything out as I go.

I have uploaded 2 upgrades into the remote so far:

Scientific Atlanta - Explorer 8300 HD for URC-9911.rmdu
HK_AVR325.txt

When using the remote to control the Scientific Atlanta box- the fav button does not function the way I would ...

Upgrade file?

Hey jayerndl,

Is there anyway that I could ask you to upload the upgrade file for the AVR 235 to this site- or get you to email it to me? I am just starting to utilize this JP1 stuff- needless to say I am VERY overwhelmed! I am using the HT-Pro/URC-9910 so if your upgrade wouldn't work with this ...

Already have ;)

Rob,

I already have that unit- it works pretty flawlessly for me except every now and then it seems to get "stuck" where the red led light will stay on and the lights will not turn on- the unit will hold in that state for a bit and then reset itself somehow and all will be fine.

I think that I ...

X10 issues

Ok I have just a few X-10 switches (4) and a couple appliance controllers for fans in my NYC apartment (closet). In the beginning all was good I had 2-3 wireless controllers and 1 corded controller, everything worked without a hitch. In time my cordless controllers ceased to function but the corded ...

MaskedMan-

I am now seeing that the HT-pro and the 9910 seem to be the same remote, is that correct? I can't seem to find much info on that remote- by the moniker "HT-Pro"...If it is an 9910 I am very interested in the trade.

URC-9964 Kameleon w/ Base station

Ok- so I rec'd one of these at a giveaway- <URC-9964 Kameleon w/ Base station> while I like it and it's "cool" an all that I really like buttons MUCH more! The thing that I like about the Kameleon is the little RF/IR extender. Is there any reason why I couldn't buy an URC-8910 and use the "extender ...
