Yep tried all of that. This remote just doesnt want to be read.

I would like to find out the answer to this one also. I cant get this remote to read either with known working cables. Mine also says JP1.

Just a little update. I found the problem and it didnt make sense. The latest beta software caused the confusion. Loaded the latest non beta and everything is fine. No more beta for me,.

THis is a little odd. I just received a new slingbox with a serial number beginning with 509. According to Robman's article on adding codes to the slingbox this should be a PL blaster version. Going into the information box and looking at the IR blaster version it comes up as a 2 which is identified ...
