Wakes up in last selected mode.

Good suggestion, but no go.

None of the channel movement buttons "automatically" engage the internal turner - if for example the viewing source was HDMI.

It sure is strange that I've been able to get ALL of the buttons mapped except the TV/Turner one.

I checked all the posted links and tried all the suggestions, but was still unable to find the discrete code for TV. Ended up creating the macro as suggested and that solved my problem.

So what exactly do the "TV" and "antenna" functions you listed do for you if they do NOT select the tuner?

Yes, the protocol is NECx2 and the device code is 0060. The device is a plasma TV.
