JP1 Remotes

Thanks for the reply. I have a txt file that has my prior setup. Do you recommend going through the learning procedure and creating an upgrade to the IR file, or is it easier to try to transcribe my old txt file which can be loaded with ir.exe?

Can I pretty much just use the same programming as my old 15-2116 remote? The 2116 and 2117 are identical from the JP1 standpoint so anything that works in the 2116 should work in the 2117 without modification.

I've been using my RS 15-2116 for a while now without too many problems, but am finally getting ready to take on the project of moving my AV equipent into the wiring closet of my house where it belongs.

I have a 15-2117 and three "command centers" to receive RF and rebroadcast as IR to my equipment ...

I'm in a similar situation, but will be controlling four devices in a wiring closet. I assume the best thing to do is to arrange the blasters to cover multiple equipment IR receivers.

Hopefully, the number of blasters you can attach isn't too small.
