Protocol Name: NEC1
Main Device: 114
Sub Device: 205

I looked over the 0698 code to see if it matches the keys that I learned and it did not.

I know for certain DVD players monkeying around doing a manual code search could damage ...

I could not find the code so I learned all the functions/buttons and did a KM customized code and placed it into IR and finally into the 8810. The remote did not have the discrete on/off keys so I could not learn them.

I would like to build a macro but without the discrete power codes it will be ...

I had a 8810W working that suddenly went flakey with the 3.1 extender. I tried many times to redownload the extender from IR hoping so make it more stable but had no success. I have recently used the modified version with the 2 NOPs and that seemed to fix the problem. I have it running solid for at ...

Rob and Mark,

My Replay remote is for a 5080 unit. I tried the no batteries in the compartment to see if it would work. No luck. As I mention earlier the parallel interface works everytime. This is a toughy.

Mark,

Are you saying to remove the batteries from the ReplayTV remote and then do a download to overcome this problem?

I would check right now but I am out of town for a few days.

Thanks

USB interface not working on ReplayTV remote

I posted this problem on the JP1 Hardware forum with no response. So I am reposting it here so see if anyone else has run into this issue or has any idea of what to do.

I have a weird problem. I finally got my USB interface working. I can upload/download to an 8810W and also to a 15-1994. However I ...

I did notice that the OBC range was approximately between 0 and 30 and I did as you suggested by trying the unused OBC numbers or gaps. That did not work. I then tried all the numbers between 31 and 70 with no success. I guess it is safe to say that there probably is no discrete codes for this ...

Discrete power codes for Sirius Audiovox satellite radio

I managed to learn all the buttons off the remote that came with the Audiovox satellite receiver. Just wondering if it is possible to get the discrete codes some how. When I learned the buttons they all had NEC1 protocol and device 16. So is there a list of typical discrete power codes or am I ...

I have a weird problem. I finally got my USB interface working. I upload/download to an 8810W and also to a 15-1994. However I cannot download from the ReplayTV remote to IR401 ( I have not tried the reverse direction yet). I get this error everytime,

Mark you were right it was a hardware issue. I had a cold solder at the USB chip on pin 12 or VCC. Once that was fixed the driver loaded as normal and IR401 detected the USB interface. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Now the fun begins....
