Problem importing KM file into RM
I was importing a "Tivo (Advanced)" Protocol device into RM .77 from KM 8.01 and RM reported that the protocol did not exist. The protocol in the protocols.ini file had different capatalization "TiVo (Advanced)" so it could not find it.
Once I changed the capatalization in protocols.ini everything ...

Re: SpongeBob Remote JP1 Compatible?
Does anybody know if the SpongeBob Squarepants remote from Radio Shack is JP1 compatible? After you JP1-program your SpongeBob remote, you can use it to tune in to FOX: I heard the FOX network is bringing back the Ed Sullivan show, and it is going to be hosted by Ed Sullivan himself. The opening ...

Wow...$95 to replace the simple remote from my Denon DVD player! I guess if you REALLY need the OEM remote, this might be your solution.Mark Pierson wrote:The new link at the top of the RS remotes page is interesting. You can find many OEM remotes from a company called Vance Baldwin Electronics.

Radio Shack 15-2117/2116 No longer available @ RS Online
Looks like the 2117 & 2116 are going bye-bye! They had them online last week but they don't seem to be there anymore.
If you want one of these, you better get to your local RatShack and pick one up.
BTW, The 2117 were the same price as the 2116 last week - $29.99.
Good Luck,
Eric

converting infocus discrete hex to efc
I could not find a tool or instructions on how to convert a discrete hex function to something resembling an efc that I could enter into KM.
here is the link to the discrete code:

ok...some more updated information after fumbling around for awhile.
If I remove all of the functions from number buttons in KM, all other functionality begins to work! It is really weird. whenever I put any function into the 0-9 buttons the EFC codes within IR, for the added device, all show up as ...
