Hi Rob, I tried your upgrade. The Internet (Enter) and PC Link (TV/Vid) buttons work, but the Power button does not. When I press the Power button, the LED on the remote comes on and stays on, but nothing happens. Did I do everything right? I loaded the upgrade into KM and then pasted the protocol ...

Thanks for the insights, Rob. One point of clarification, primarily to avoid confusion -- the SL-400i has many buttons (30+), but I was only having trouble with the three power buttons, because two of them have a different device code from all the other buttons.

Oops, just saw that Capn Trips ...

Thanks. I think I got it to work -- I think what I was missing was the use of the Import button on the Keymoves tab. You use the add button to paste upgrade info on the Devices tab, but Import to paste keymove info on the Keymoves tab. Please let me know if I'm wrong on that.

I'm intereseted in ...

Keymoves for an unassigned device

This is related to my earlier thread http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5300 but deals with a different aspect, so I hope a new thread is okay.
I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up keymoves. I have an upgrade with two buttons -- Power and Internet -- that I want available on ...

Thanks, Rob. I did as you suggested and uploaded to the files section. I also deleted the diagnosis file.

Thanks, those worked great! Are they two upgrades because of the two device numbers? Since I would like to upload my upgrade for others -- I made mine because I couldn't find one for this unit here -- what would be the best way to handle the buttons?

Thanks again!

I thought I'd go ahead and post the details from my IR file:

Button Device OBC EFC
Power 52 12 050
Internet 52 63 187
PC Link 53 63 187

They all say RC6.

Okay, I learned the keys and posted the IR file to the diagnosis area here:

http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=2337

I learned each key twice, to capture the toggle bit -- it does indeed change from 0 to 1. More interesting is probably the different OBCs and device ...

Thanks so much for the speedy reply. I meant to put in my first message that the protocol is RC6. I'll post the other in-depth info when I get home tonight. Thanks again!

Philips SL-400i media streamer

I'm brand new to this, but with the help of some great instructional documents and informative posts here on the forum (and about a week of studying it all), I'm finally building my first upgrade. It's for my Philips SL-400i media streamer. I learned the keys into the remote and looked at them in IR ...
