Congratulations 8) on a very good introduction into JP1.

Would have assisted me considerably when I first started and saved a lot of basic questions to the forum.

Now >90 posts on, there is still much for me in the content.

Thank you

Following on from the 'low battery in remote' message.

Assigning EFC 080 - OBC 72 - Hex 48 to a button in the Sky Digibox device shows a message 'low batteries in keyboard' (there is an optional extra keyboard availiable from Sky to replace the remote).

I do not use the keyboard so this message ...

The low batt message was picked up from the Sky Remote

EFC 248 - OBC 71 - Hex 47

I assigned this to a button on the 8060 which produces the low batt warning on screen.

However now that I thought about it a little more I think the code only sends the message as opposed to something being ...

Is there a way of setting when the remote low batt. warning message comes on. :?:

I have it defined on a button and it comes on when pressed but it does not appear to come on by itself.

With all the use on the new extender my batts got really low but the warning did not appear.

Re: URC-8060 Extender Beta

1 - I like the 'default screen' choice, for me it makes selection more positive.

2 - I've come across an oddity - I think its in the mapping - For the moment (easier for the Family whilst I'm finalising the layout) I call an 'all off' macro from --/>10. In Sat mode this changes to 'back-up' on two ...

I'm still fighting the pause slowdown problem. For the moment I'm making macros full of phantom buttons that I can call to give me enough delay. Is the fix in the last extender upload yet?.

I have also noted it needs 2 presses of the device button to make the navigation keys operate.

1 - The dropdown list contains just 2 items in all 3 Look & Feel modes:

RemoteMaster device upgrade files
KeyMapMaster device upgrade files

2 - rmaster.err is empty since I installed your new downloaded RemoteMaster.jar

"RemoteMaster device upgrade files" and "KeyMapMaster device upgrade files" - I'm afraid us Mac users get offered nothing

There is no dialog when one clicks 'open' in File - only asks if you wish to save current file & then takes you straight to the Upgrade Folder to choose.
