Reagrding Previous Keymap URC-9910 Question

I resolved my issue...

I deleted all keymoves for the new Sony receiver in IR.
(There were several DEVICE BUTTON that were "=<N/A>"???)

Re-pasted the device and protocol upgrades.

Works!!!

Sorry for the false alarm.

Oldbee trying to catch back up... Keymap issue on RMv1.86

I had to replace my Pioneer receiver due to failure and went with a Sony STR-DG820. I found a .rdmu file for a STR-DG920 to use and modify. I was able to determine the Discrete On/Off codes and add them to the FUNCTIONS in RemoteMaster, copy to IR, transfer to the remote (a URC-9910 New with the ...

Difference...

I think I'm answering my own question...

I think the differences are just cosmetic. A slightly different image came up. The upgrades look identical.

Commenting in IR.exe

Somewhere I saw a post (and cannot find it now) where there was a way to modify the RDF file so a description could be put in for the device protocol code so in keymoves and general you might see "Sony TiVo" vs. 2001.

Am I making this up??? I have searched on the JPI and yahoo forums to no avail ...

Newbie (idiot) question on extender v5...

All I want to do is when I select a device (e.g. CBl/SAT) I want to change the input of my receiver (AUX1) to the proper input for the CBL/SAT but leave the remote ready for CBL/SAT functionality. I have tried this with the standard macros but I appears that I cannot do this (inquiry on a different ...

Discrete On/Off codes for a JVC XV-F80BK

I have exhausted my search for Discrete On/Off codes for a JVC XV-F80BK 7 disc DVD/CD player. I have tried the generic JVC 247/248 EFCs. Does anyone know if they exist for this device???

Thanks ahead...
