JP1 Remotes

Mark, thank you very much. I now get the four blinks when I hit the power key after the two uploads. I will test more thououghly later.

I have a 6012w from walmart. I have added an 8k eeprom, jp1 and jumper2.
I want to use it with the latest extender.
I have tried several of the files but never get a combination that gives me 4 blinks after I upload to the remote and press the power key.
I'm not sure that I am using the right files ...

I assume that this question fits into the extenders section.
I am about to add eeproms to some 6131s. Besides the 2k I ordered a couple of larger ones (4k, 8k, 16k)
In the remotes.xls table the column ">2k Support" shows "???".
Does that mean that 4k, 8k, 16k eeproms haven't been tested or that ...

I had downloaded and unzipped on another computer. apparently I didn't copy all of the files (rdf's) to the computer and directory that has ir.exe. Since your message I have now unzipped to that directory so that all the files will be there.
I didn't do an install as I had no files to convert ...

Thank you Mark and Steve for your quick answer. I have found the correct rdf and am on my way again.

I just purchased a modified 6131 and am using the extender to add macros and hopefully other features. I was successful adding a device but am stuck with the macros.
The readme suggests a macro "V_TV; T_TV; O_TV" to achieve simple device selection.
I am not figuring out how or where to enter that ...
