I think you will get that message when no cable is attached. I have IR6.0 on two computers, one with the simple parallel cable attached and the other without any cable. I get that same message on the computer without a cable and no message on the computer with the cable (no remote) attached. I'm ...

On the Boston Acoustics file in the files section, right click on the download button and select "Save target as..". This will download the file correctly. Files download with a left click have some problem with the new line/line feed characters. They look OK in a text editor but don't load into KM ...

You probably did this, but just in case you didn't.

I've been using an original simple design (10K resistors) cable with my Dell laptop for about 2 years (1994 remotes) with no problems. I did follow the advice in Tommy's construction manual when I built my cable and made a "dummy" battery out of dowel rod and aluminum foil. I always replace one of ...

Device upgrades for Apex AD-703 or GE1101P may work with your Shinco built DVD player. Both the Ad-703 and 1101P are built by Shinco and the remote signals are the same. The ad-703 remote controls the 1101P and vice-versa. There is an upgrade for the AD-703 in the files section of the Yahoo group ...

Problem with forum pages?
For the past 2 days, I've been having problems bringing up forum pages. For example, clicking on "Code Search" might bring up a blank page - no topics. I can click "Back" and click "Code Search" again and the page usually comes up. The same for other pages.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I'll scan the manual tomorrow and post it. The cable code was preset by the cable company. The only code I selected was the VCR code. I was goint to try to make a rdf but decided it was over my head. I use the Mill 3 only for controlling the cable box in my computer room. The TV is so old (analog ...

I have a Millenium 3 also which came with my Time Warner (Motorola) cable box. The signature is ML30ML30. It also came with a "manual". The manual does show a 995 command which can be used to program favorite channels or macros on the OPTION button only. The stickers inside the battery compartment ...

Word wrap in messages
This question is not in the nature of a complaint, just curiosity.
There seems to have been a change in the forum recently in the minimum width of the window in which the entire message can be read. I am a member of a nerd-out.com forum which uses the same phpBB software. When in the nerd-out forum ...
