JP1 Remotes

it doesn't seem to consistently do anything.........sometimes LKP does a ffwd X2 then other times it does 2 page (chapter) forwards before switching to ffwd X2 sometimes a DKP does the same.

The tech guy at Philips who put this together ought to be dragged out into the road and slapped.

i've posted the IR txt file (dvd learns 11-21.txt) in the diagnosis area. The learns for the native short key press are under DVD ffwd and rew. I attempted to learn the LKP commands under DVD 4 and 5.

basically in MYSYS i have assigned the menu keys to SAT and the channel keys to TV but the "info" button is mostly used with the SAT device so i was wondering was there any work around to moving the info button from the channel ...

a few questions concerning the 2116 ext2:

1) i can't seem to get the dkp to work on the device keys, it works fine on the other keys. i don't believe Its an issue with nesting since i set up a couple of simple macros with just the number 1 & 2 in them but still no dkp function on the cbl button ...

What is the adress 1,2..etc. for. Can i test these by manually inputing them with my 15-2116?

are there power discretes for this device? i see several upgrades in the file section but i didn't know what was included. TY

i've put the latest incarnation up in "prelim Philips LX 3500D (learned signals from 15-2116).txt" in this one most commands are either supported by EFC's in device 0539 or learned under the same, with the only exception being the tuner and aux buttons which are supported under device 1189.

I was able to "learn" all of the commands except the 4 arrow keys (errored every time) and i believe most had listed protocols of RC5 or RC6. how come i wouldn't be able to enter the listed EFC from the learned command as an EFC in the keymove section just like the published adv codes? are the learned EFC's incorrect or just not relevant because the device doesn't recognize them?

i haven't worked with km yet so i'll try tomorrow. Just curious how could the remote learn a command that doesn't work on the device yet the info will be correct for km to use?
