When you start IR, instead of pressing open press new under file, it will ask you what type of remote you want to program and take you off the one it is currently set for. Thank You, I got one that matched the name of the t.v. closer and it didn't have them. One more question, there is only one file with the panasonic ht900 and no discrete on, off am I missing it like I did the last one?

I am using the 15-2117 to try and set up a Samsung DLP tv. When you go to the video inputs on the T.V. there are no numbers assigned to the video inputs making macro's difficult. Is there a way around this?

Yes. Keep in mind that to use shifted numeric buttons (0-9), the P key needs to be pressed twice (i.e. P, P, #) to send the shifted function.
