The discrete codes only work with Robs hacked protocol although the buttons on the standard code 0869 works so much better than the original remote even did. Ok something weird I just pulled out my RS 15-2133 for which I have NO NO JP1 hookup since I made my own cable to test with my 15-2117. I threw in code 0869 just to learn a few codes from that device to change a few keys I like on that code better(real EXIT function and INFO) and by mistake I pushed ...

I used the MANUAL protocol from the link I had in the post above but I am about to enter it into the original 0869 device code which is GI 4DTV protocol to see if it works. I finally got to "give back" thats awesome.

In remote master I see on the bottom of my remotes picture in layout grey buttons for discrete on/off and 5 phantom keys. What do these correspond to on my physical remote? Thanks so much for the info I also did some more searching and found a complete hitachi upgrade with the discrete video codes. Works great but that post sure has every last discrete available for Hitachi RPTV

Hopeful news.

10in1 recharge cradle included some kind of funky touch sensor so only human touch sets it off and maybe possibly very soon JP1 upgrading
