JP1 Remotes

I bought one with an extra, smaller tip and that seems to make it easier to use for finer work than the normal tip. Works OK, but takes a bit of getting used to to get the tip just right to make contact. When you do you can seem a little arc.

Is it possible to use a macro in a LKP? In other words can I set up a macro with 20 keys in it, and then just add 1 byte to the LKP and have it count as only 1 byte?

Thanks, huge help, that worked great. Now new issue, none of the discretes, video settings, nor On/Off, seem to work for my TV. Thoughts on this?

I have a 61SDX01B and am using device code 0145, which works for most functions. I cannot find anywhere the EFC for Aspect Ratio. Anyone have this? I also tried the Ultravision upgrade but no joy, and I found a listing for all the codes for the Hitachi on RC, but no mention of Aspect Ratio. Anyone?

I am real new to this, and not much of a hardware guy, but thought I would take a shot at building my own cable. Well it's done, but when I run IR and test it using check interface I get a message saying no response from interface. I have checked the hardware and believe I have it all correct ...
