Ah, that was it. Thank you so much.

Should have paid a bit more attention to the notes in that tab as well.

Device Order

Is there a way to order the devices being shown when in the "Devices" sub-section of the remote?

I replaced my TV and as per the recommendation here, added the new TV, updated all the activities/macros to use the new one and then deleted the old TV device. I also moved the new device to the ...

RCA RCRP05B Communication Issue

Not sure what I did, but the remote is no longer being recognized by RMIR. I tried a factory reset (via Setup + 980 & Setup + 981).

When I try to communicate, the device button flashes once, like usual, and then immediately after I get the "No remotes found" message and a double flash right after ...

Thanks, vicky.

Don't know why I didn't think of sending the discrete ON twice. Duh, seems obvious now.

I did come across that issue during my research in trying to fix it. However, from what I gathered, it meant that all keys had the "miss" issue, and that wasn't the case for me so I assumed that ...

MCE Discrete Power On issue with RCA RCRP05B

I recently acquired a Rosewill RRC-126 MCE RC6 Remote + USB Receiver. This is attached to a Windows 7 machine.

The original Rosewill remote only has a Power toggle button.

The RCA RCRP05B has the v1.05 Extender installed.

Thanks to the the MCE + XBox 360 upgrade available on the site, I was ...

I just today found a Discrete ON and Discrete OFF workaround for a Comcast CISCO RNG150. Don't know if it will work in your case or not.

Zero followed by Exit will turn on the cable box. You can either use TOADTOG to do the power off or use Zero, Exit, shift-Power as a discrete OFF. If the TV is ...

EDIT: I forgot, but I posted every EFC I got from a Harmony, but nobody in that thread would ever confirm them. Here's an upgrade based on that for you to try (you'll have to convert it to a wav of course):

Yes you can edit the protocol directly.

Line FF30 need to have the immediate value changes to #0121

LDW RRC0, #0121h

To get in there click on the protocol 0066 on the devices table.
Click the Dissasembly radio button
Click the Dissemble button
Change the value on line FF30 (minimum allowable ...

Better?

Is there a way for me to apply this upgrade without having to redo the button mapping again?

Can I update the new protocol (copy + paste) to my existing device? Would that work?

Also, does this protocol allow to me ...

I don't have an original remote for the PS3, but I do have a controller. I'll compare the repeat on the navigation keys between that and my remote with your upgrade and let you know.

I compared the controller vs the remote and the delay on the controller is about 0.5 seconds as opposed to about 2 ...

I fixed the link, am glad the power button now works, but am worried about the length of hold time I have before duplicating starts.

This will effect both upgrades.

When you press the navigation arrows I was told that the original remotes pause before repeating. If this pause is too much on the ...

Please try both and let me know if the hold time is too long before the repeats start.

This one works perfectly. I can now shutdown the PS3 (using the PS Long ...

GameGod, I updated in the plain old PS3_Harmony_Bluetooth with a protocol I had in my Katherin folder. This should repeat when held.

I found an older version of the upgrade "ps3_Bluetooth_Adapter", which imported fine (I used the URC 1067 remote).

With that upgrade, everything works, except it doesn't have the long press version of the PS key and so I can't shutdown the PS3.

Please let me know if you need any more info or ...
