Understood.
I loaded it into the program and saved the file. I didn't want to load it in the remote until I actually get the DVR.
I wished I caught my mistake earlier. I did ordered a Homeworx DVR, both were suppose to be Xmas gifts but other circumstances occurred. :(

Then I misunderstood. My bad.
I'll let you know about that code as soon as I get the DVR, the weather is delaying it.

It just dawned on me I posted the wrong DVR name. It should be Tablo, not Homeworx. OP corrected.

BTW, it's not UEI it's URC;

It's a older remote, but it's still current.

Start w/ a clean slate and add a device for the DVR,
Open Universal Browser,
Click on Hex Editor,
C&P the Hex code,
Drag to that command button.

Is that correct?

Thanks for the additional info. Yes, that Universal Browser I recognized the name. To use that aren't you using the USB cable connection on the remote like you do to load config files? There is a unused 8 pin solder connection on the PCB that use to have a header that doesn't anymore. Isn't that the ...

Serial is a little dated.

No I don't know about loading code into the MX900. Never had to do it. I did look at those cables. The 2nd link was the only active one on that JP1 page.

JP1 remotes use a serial connection, don't they?

BTW, I'm using the dedicated older software for the MX900 since it's far easier to use and it does the basic job. :)

Well, the other way is to find a remote with the same codes and teach the MX900 which I was hoping to do. :(

And yes, Remote Central is a "graveyard' of sorts which is why I'm ...

No idea, I'm not familiar with any of this. That is what the manufacture gave me. The stock remote doesn't have a needed numeric keypad.

The programmable remote is a URC MX900 if that matters.

Tablo DVR; similar remote to program learning remote

I have 2 codes for Tablo TV Tuner/DVR boxes, but I don't know what or how to do with them.

What I really wanted was a remote that I can use with their model HW-150PVR to program a learning remote (URC MX-900)

The remote codes they gave me are OIFF and 807F, Data format NEC

Can anyone have or know ...
