Thanks Jon, I already tried those codes as well as the CH+ trick to no avail. I was kinda hoping that maybe there was another step besides just inserting the EFC in KM.

Discrete Commands On Old Mitsu

I am programming a 15-2117 for a Mit CS 2724R that I just aquired and have tried the EFC from the Advanced Code section for TV 0150 to try to get discrete commands for input as well as on/off but they don't work. Before I throw in the towel and assume that this model, circa 1991, doesn't have ...

USB Interface Problem

Hi, I just got a USB interface from Filebug and on 3 different computers I gqt the message"SDA is being held low." I've tried changing the batteries and reversing one of the batteries but to no avail. I tried a search with the above message but haven't found anything referring to SDA as of yet. A ...

RS 15-2117 Multiple Emitters?

On the RF receiver unit is a connection for an IR blaster but I'm wondering if someone can advise me as to how to connect multiple emitters w/out blowing them.

Thanks,
Mark

Okay that helps a lot, thanks. That is quite clear and pretty much what I thought, probably should have just tried it.

Don't know if you were being sarcastic "Congratulations, you spotted a typo. I would have thought that one was pretty obvious.", I'm just trying to gain a deeper understanding and ...

Can you give me any insight as to how one knows $10 = 1 sec $A0 = 10 sec. etc.?
Also I am trying to understand at a more fundamental level what some of the various lines mean in the example. I see where TV phantom 1 is described as a .5 sec. delay but don't understand what all the other lines of ...

I have copied and pasted the upgrade protocol and the upgrade device from the "pause.txt" into ir.exe but after that it gets pretty sketchy. I guess I'm a bit confused by a few things. I can probably stumble through it (?) but I am trying to gain understanding of some of what I am reading/doing ...

Help re. adding delay.

I have looked at the post http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... ht=rs+2117 and it is a bit over my head still. Can someone either point me toward a help file or walk me thru it?

Thanks,
Mark

Wow, I don't have a clue as to what you guys are trying to tell me but w/ that info I was able to add the discrete on/off commands! Well I'm probably selling myself a wee bit short but in truth most of what you guys told me is still Greek to me but I'm learnin'.

Thanks

Help with discrete code.

Well I am trying to do this without asking questions re. things that I can find by reading but at the moment my head is spinning from all the info. I am trying to add a discrete on and off code for an Infocus projector. I found the codes in the discrete section of Remotecentral but am clueless as to ...
