I'm not sure this is exactly relevant to this specific issue related to the Arduino interface and RMIR, but it is relevant to both the Arduino IRWidget and Barf's Arduino GIRS interface with the CH340 chip/driver. If there is a better place to post this info, please advise.

I still have a working 8910. I downloaded the existing setup from the remote and the Parameters box seemed to work fine if I understand what issue you're describing. I also loaded an old rmir setup and the Parameters box worked fine. Did you want me to do some other testing, maybe on your RMIR file?

I think there is sufficient danger of users doing the same thing that RMIR should not allow multimacros on these keys. I propose amending the RDFs for these remotes to allow real-time macros on the color keys but not multimacros on the App keys. Normal macros are already allowed on both. Does this ...

I did some more testing with 2.15.5 and the 3660. Basically, I tried all 6 types of macros with the following types of buttons:
1) Activity
2) Power
3) App
4) Colored (multimacro)

So, just for documentation purposes, if I leave "Disable Upload Restrictions" unchecked, I find the following actions ...

Quick update for jmezz13. I too find with my URC-8550 that a first upload to the remote succeeds, a second one with a different setup done straight afterwards fails on verification. Since then, all further upload attempts have also failed with the verification error. So I do have something to work ...

If you didn't do this already, can you upload a file to the remote, then open a different RMIR file and try to upload that and see if it works on the RS 15-1994?
Works like it should 1st time, then closed RMIR and tried again this time i got error upload verified failed.

@jmezz13: If you instead load from the .rmir file to the remote, which should be the same but with the extra-long special function shortened, do the macros then run correctly? If they still don't, could you try uploading the .rmir file with v2.14.18? I really would like to identify where they are ...
