Thanks for the Support...
FWIW, you might look up the spec sheet for the Sharp IR receiver that you used in the mod and check out the IR carrier frequency. If it's ~38 KHz you may want to modify the protocol, if you have range/recognition problems. If its ~58 KHz then that is the default carrier frequency used in SAT/0775 ...

Trying to load my IR file into KM...
From keymap-master 8.31, there is an load option, but every time I try to load a .ir or a txt file, I get this message:
"The file does not appear to be a valid keymap-master Device Upgrade.
Please select another file..."
How do I load my existing IR file that I downlaoded from my remote?

4000 is RF not IR...
Sorry for not using the manditory form... My bad!!
Thanks Robman for the info. Yes this is a RF remote. I assumed that it provided both IR and RF but it apears that the rcvr is only RF right now. That is the most info I have received in the past 2 weeks. I will persue.
Thanks again!

Have you got it working with your DISH 4000 yet?
Turns out the sub-device value, in IR parlance, was 2 for my remote. RM calls this parameter "unit", which caused me some bit of confusion. Why the difference in terminology? How many values for sub-device do various dish network receivers use? Why would it ever be changed?
