Does the HEX code need to be typed in a certain number of blocks per line?

Seems my Palm app spits them out 6 blocks per line.

any other suggestions?
The Goldstar CCF code online has most of the codes but they are learns and its missing the "input" button/code ...

I lost the remote for my Goldstar VCR long time ago.. and never really needed it since I only used to to play tapes. But my other VCR crapped out, so I need to use this one to record from the RCA inputs.. (input1, video in.. whatever you want to call it. )
