Thanks guys !

I got the IRTool working.

I tryed them on a different device (CD) by themselves making a new update, so i wouldn't mess up my cable config. Using NEC2 protocol, device 0, subdevice 48 and nothing happens.

So... at this time, there are no discretes for the HUMAX cable digibox. :(

I found discrete ON and OFF at remotecentral for some HUMAX devices, but when i decode these (below) with IRTool, it gives me the same Device/code numbers for both actions.

Here are the HEX:

New info on this one.

The screen where the menu does not work, is the second screen on TV mode on the URC-9960 (second = press the scroll once), with arrow keys visible, but not the PiP keys. The same keys again work on the third screen on TV mode, with arrow keys and PiP controls visible.

And the ...

The Finlux TV update file has now the extra key codes.

I haven't found a cure yet for the problem, that a coded button doesn't work on the same device, on another scrolled screen.

I'v used some AA and AAA rechargeable batterys, and i'v notices that the "nameless" or some less known batterys (cheaper) tend to be poor in quality compared to, lets say, GP. Even they are the same capasity.

For excample, i used some cheap 800mAh rechargeable batterys on my old URC-8060, and they ...

NiMH rechargeable batteries

Hi all.

I'v noticed that a good (read expensive) normal AAA battery lasts a lot longer, that the 800 mAh rechargeable batterys. I thing that this is cause the rechargeables are 1,2 volts, and the normal batterys are 1,5 volts.

As we are on the subjects, can 4 AA size batterys be fitted in the URC ...
