I got a new remote with a CON1 interface, UR5U-8800L I posted images in the file section MISC.

not sure how to link them here, has anyone ever come across this interface?

It mentions a device called "Upgrade Link" to connect to pc via usb and looks like there is another connection to the remote.

Any idea what that program on that weblink is used for then, it has serial communication settings and defaults to a picture of that remote.

Does anyone have this remote with a connector inside? Mine has a space for a connector but no holes for it, so I'm not sure if I take it apart and it will hhave the holes available to be drilled?

I just installed MCE 2005, and I can't seem to find a dev upgrade code. I do not have a MCE remote, but I do have a Infra Red serial interface from my realmagic X-card that I was hoping to be able use with my JP1 Remote.

Does anyone have a complete device upgrade for 2116 remote or similar ...

I noticed that the RDF contains the wrong mapping for this remote, there are 2 RDF ER1 and Scientific Atlanta 3 button neither one works properly.

Now if I only knew how or where to begin fixing it

Sorry for the repost of the same question, but it seems that the original topic wasn't getting enough attention. I have a big screen crt sony and I'm looking for video 7 discrete. I tried the following code :


VIDEO7 is on the '7' button. Try the rest of the buttons too as I programmed ...

That upgrade didn't do much for me, only button 8 and 9 worked. 8 actived the memory stick browser, and 9 activated the smart focus convergance.

Still no video 7, has anyone gotten this to work with the rear projection sony's yet?

I have aKP-65WV700 , I'm trying to access the DVI input video 7 directly. I downloaded 2 different config files from the yahoo forums but still no luck.

Does that mean my tv doesnt support it, or am I just doing it wrong. supposidy I should be using the sony15.

If anyone has gotten this to work ...

I just wanted to get an idea of what these remotes are worth to people these days, is this remote considered to the best of the best or just the originator.

and whats the going rate for a new or used 15-1994 remote.
