I'd like to change the behavior of the backlight so that it always goes on when any key is pressed; the backlight key would only be used to turn it off prior to the timer expiring. Physically swapping buttons on OFA remotes
This is an easy one to answer to anyone who has popped one open... :-)
If you open the remote, can the same-sized buttons be swapped around on the 8811/8910/etc.? (Or are they attached in some way, shaped differently at under the shell, or otherwise limited to their exact locations.)

Is the 810 worth it--even so cheap?
One (or at least I) could find an excuse to get near the $25 min purchase, if even to buy parts for the JP1 interface. :-)
But from the negative things I've read here and elsewhere, is it even worth the ~$15 shipped?
