JP1 Remotes

OK, read the reset page more carefully... doing a power,1,3 battery combo did not APPEAR to change anything on the remote (still came up with a pixelated language screen) BUT now EZ-RC was able to update the remote! Looks like everything is working now!

New Nevo C2 user... did my initial upgrade on EZ-RC, no problem. Added some devices, disconnect, reconnect several times. Got RemoteMaster working (thanks guys!) did a download and saved the file, back and forth a few more times with EZ-RC adding more devices, more downloads... everything seemed to ...

Long shot or not- that did it!! I now see the CommHID! I'll check with the remote when I get home, but feeling good. Thanks for the help!!

Yup, got the full one... I just see one zip file, the entire contents of which I copied to C:\Program Files (x86)\RemoteMaster. Just did it again from the link that you provided. Same About text showing up- still no CommHID.

Hey, when I look at the Help/About screen, I see this- seems to be missing the CommHID? (This is running without the remote plugged in, if that makes any difference)

When I referenced the registry above, I was talking about the power fix, where the remote would instantly disconnect under Win8 and 10. That is the only thing I did in the registry, and I cheated and used the auto-magic file.

I'm not quite sure what I'm looking for on your registry ...
