vickyg2003,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to this.
I can confirm the discrete ON/OFF you provided do work with my TV.

Below is a summary of what I had to program into my remote as keymoves in addition to the TV/1602 setup code. I also included the discrete On/Off and AV-Component even though ...

Could you do a summary of all the EFC's you are using to make this work, and I'll create an upgrade for this TV so we have an easy to use reference.

I did post a summary earlier, before we started hunting for discretes.
I will post a revised one after I have a chance to test the discrete on/off ...

vickyg2003,

Nothing in your latest list triggered any response from the TV.
I also found that sending the Ch+ and CH- EFCs listed for TV/1602 in the Lookup don't switch to TV mode (I used the EFCs because the remote is Channel Locked to the Cable Box and I didn't want to mess with that).

Thanks ...

Update:

43272 appears to mean "AV/ Component "
However, I have a Composite input (TV uses shared connectors).
The result is that I get a grey scale image when using 43272 to select an input.
The on-screen doesn't make a Component/Composite distinction, just offering a single "AV".

So, I am still ...

He'll need to know which setup codes those EFCs go with.

Not a problem really - TV/1602 was the only setup code discussed in the thread which used full 5-digit EFCs.

Are your inputs in these lists?

Thanks for the fish when I was expecting just a rod and reel.

Here are the inputs as they ...

Try momentarily setting the setup code to
TV/1602
and testing EFC
43310 Info

That worked! I now have enough to allow me to put the OEM remote in a drawer!
Summary appears at end of this post.
Thanks a bunch.

My next "mission" is to find EFCs for the discrete input selects instead of selecting ...

There are lots of advantages to using RemoteMaster even without a cable. It allows you to recalculate and decode EFCs for different executors so you can move from a combo. It also allows you to open upgrades from our file section.

OK, sounds like I need to read more on this site to learn about ...

Update:

I was able to find a working EFC for MENU in the Lookup Tool under a Denon/Combo setup code TV/0818.

So, at the moment I can start from TV/0093 or TV/1602 and end up at the same place: lacking only an EFC for the INFO key.

The TV/1602 based setup required only 3 keymoves vs. 8 with TV ...

vickyg2003,

Thanks for the rapid reply.
As I indicated, I tried everything I could find for TV/0093 and TV/0688.
Your suggestions for Info and Display were among those I tried w/o success.
However, the 00052 EFC for Exit works perfectly from all three contexts - thanks for that!

In response to ...
