Yes, we're still here. The forum was down for a few months but it's back.
I can reproduce your issue, but we really need Graham (mathdon) to look into it, unfortunately he hasn't been seen since the forum returned, so I don't think he will see this post.

Re: The File Section
I just launched a new feature today, if you look at the top of the page, next to File Section and Upload a File, you'll notice that there is now a "File Search" option. This is all brand new code as there wasn't any kind of search module supplied with the PafileDB extension, so I had to write it all ...

Re: Looking for Strong Leap-S1 RMDU
That's great! Are you using the upgrade that UEI gave us or one of the built in setup codes? I don't know how much time you want to spend on this, but here are some tips to make this the perfect upgrade. Make sure that all of the function names match the button names on the original remote. If the ...

I was under the impression that it came with one, but I guess not. Have you checked the unit to see if it has a slot for one?jacobacci wrote: Tue Dec 09, 2025 2:03 am Wow, that's great. Now all I need is a compatible IR sensor. I have written to Strong Support EU for the spec

Re: Looking for Strong Leap-S1 RMDU
First thing I would suggest is either trying some streamer codes from your remote manual, or trying the manual search method described in the manual. If you find a code that does anything, I can use that to find the protocol and device code, which I can then use to find matching upgrades.

Re: Looking for Strong Leap-S1 RMDU
I just Google'd "does the strong LEAP-S1 support IR remotes?" and got this response:
Yes, the STRONG LEAP-S1 Android TV box is compatible with IR (infrared) remotes.
While the original remote that comes with the device uses both Bluetooth and voice control functions, the box itself has an IR ...

Re: Looking for Strong Leap-S1 RMDU
10. Learning remote question? I have tried to learn the buttons to my URC-1280v2 (as described in the URC user manual), but the URC did not register anything. Maybe the original remote is bluetooth?
Let's focus on this first then, because if it isn't an IR remote, and you don't find any info ...

Re: More Sony Bravia Sync Codes if they exist...
For anyone else who's curious how the TV can control another device, it turns out that "Bravia Sync" is Sony's brand name for HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control), a feature that lets you control multiple connected A/V devices (like Blu-ray players, soundbars, AV receivers) with a single remote ...

Re: RCA webOS TV RWOSU6549
Do you know how to convert hex to decimal?
You captured:
Protocol=NEC Address=0x4, Command=0x10
Protocol=NEC Address=0x4, Command=0x11
0x4 = decimal 4, that's your device code
0x10 = decimal 16, that's the OBC for the 0 button
0x11 = decimal 17, that's the OBC for the 1 button
All of that matches ...
