Resolved

Plugging in the cable, going into Device Manager and uninstalling the driver, unplugging the cable and then plugging it back in to reinstall the driver worked.

Thanks. I understand the 9910 is a JP1 remote, but I believe Tommy's cable / interface uses the JP1.x config...also noted on the site as:

"Both the flash and EEPROM interfaces operate with IR or RMIR configured for "JP1.x". ("JP1 USB" configuration is not used.)"

TT cable / JP1 EEPROM Interface connection issue

I have not changed my remotes for ~2 years and now I can't get IR (or RM) to communicate with any of my remotes. I had used serial cables for years, then back around 2007/8 I switched to Tommy Tyler's USB cable and JP1 EEPROM Interface (using URC-9910 remotes with a Win7 PC). I used that ...

Thanks Mike! I searched quite a bit but didn't find that post. I'll use one of the two methods noted in the post link. Thanks again Mike.

KM "ERROR" text in HEX column

In KM with Pioneer 3DEV, I get the text "ERROR" in the HEX column after I enter some of the byte2 values in the functions sheet. I am using the setup of 165/164/blank in the device 1/2/3, and it seems that any byte2 for OBC's higher than 031 generates the ERROR text when I user a low value as the ...

Can not get 2 functions in Pioneer 3DEV Protocol to work

I'm using the Pioneer 3DEV protocol to control a Pioneer VSX-53TX receiver. The 3 device codes I have entered are 165, 170 and 164. All of the functions I have defined are working except for 2 - surround movie and surround music. The learned signals for these functions show protocol Pioneer, device ...

The problem turned out to be a basic mistake on my part. I don't know how I did it, but I had all the wrong EFCs entered. I swear I entered the correct ones initially, but I must have clobbered them somewhere along the way. After hours of trying all sorts of things, it turned out I was ignoring the ...

Sharp DT-200 Projector Upgrade Code Help

I'm looking for help getting upgrade code for a Sharp DT-200 DLP projector. The learned signals show up as device code 13 (frequency 38277) and list 2-3 entries each (the second one listing "back half"). I have plugged the EFCs into Keymap Master using the available "Sharp" or "Sharp DVD" protocol ...
