Cool thanks Rob. And I apologize about the typos. I was in a rush, and I am sick in bed with my laptop so I was a bit tired But yea I apologize again.

And wow there a 105 gaps! IS there any strategy like to try something around the power (although it is 00) to make this faster or no way around it?

cool. In the tutorial it said to use a (2) wher eyou are not sure so that is what I did. I was asking so tht when I post it people wont gte confused. I can't wait to give back to the forum! So far so good.

guys but if it can't decode it why am I not even see the empty chart for obc values, protocol and other values? Wouldnt it just be blank?

ok doesnt matter. I got it. Byut I sitll dont have a chart for OBC, EFC... anywhere in IR.exe.

everything is being learned correctly because the 2117 says success when lerned. The problem is that in my IR.EXE I dont even have that whole chart that lists OFC. It's just not there.

So I am trying to create an upgrade for the Sanyo PLV-Z4 projector. I read the guide and learned some buttons but when I open IR and go to learned commands I dont see the same image as in the tutorial.

I only see the frequency and bunch of repeating number that are "Sent once when key is pressed ...

SA 8300HD DVR upgrade question

Hi guys I found the upgrade int he files section but it is for the 9910 remote. I want to try to see if I can work something up with the 2117. Any1 know if I can use that upgrade on the 2117? I was under the impression that upgrades where not remote specific.

Rob quick question. I need a PVR remote to use with my SA 8300HD DVR and it turns out the 2117 just doesnt have enough buttons.

Wee guys I solved the problem. I just had to copy "gwiopm.sys" to the windows directory to get it to work. Im still confused about why the older version worked though with the file just being in the directory. I guess the newer version requires it to be in the windows general directory?
