excellent cbl 1272 worked fine now all the buttons appear to be mapped.

will I have to learn a green button for the RCA? I can use the live TV button from my harmony700 to startup w7mc.(I prefer to keep it in the toolbar)
or should I use the HP w7mc remotes green button?

I have a RCA remote anyone know the code to program for w7mc?plus the procedure. I also have a HP IR blaster and a wmc remote prefer to use the RCA to control all.

OK sounds good on my previous RCA I thought I locked the volume to yamaha.

so how do you recommend programming the yamaha to turn on and function

I had the RCA a few years ago untill it was dropped on the floor.it's now been replaced.
I've managed to program my samsung TV w/ the 4 digit code.

now I'd like to program my AVR.

if I remember correctly, I was forced to use learn function because the yamahas have a on button and a off button ...

...even w/ the TV discrete on The TV still turns off jumping from PC macro to TV macro. On the basis of this statement alone, without being able to understand he rest, a few thoughts:-

Either
1.) the Tv's 'discrete on' is not 'discrete'

Or
2.) Something else is turning the Tv off

Try mapping the menu key the Magnavox device to itself:

1. Magnavox device
2. press and hold SETUP for two blinks, release
3. enter 9 9 4
4. press SETUP, for one blink, release;
5. press MENU
6. press MENU again

Hello Vicky when I'm in mode Magnavox and press the menu button yes the mode button lights up.


OK since Learns trump keymoves and only effect one device mode

So each mode has it's own menu button for example
mode Magnavox has it's own menu

mode TV has it's own menu

mode PC has it's own menu ...

Magnavox has no premapped menu key?
I used code 0675 to program my Magnavox 515 DVR the function, navigation, info, guide,exit keys are premapped however the menu key is none functionale.

procedure for turning TV on w/ discrete code
1. press TV mode. in devices on the top.

2.press & hold setup untill I observe 2 blinks from TV mode.

3.press 994

4.press setup

5.press 00001

6.press any button for discrete TV on
