hdmi cec samsung/ps3

i control my ps3 through hdmi cec from my samsung tv which works fine, except that when watching a bluray the only way to pause is to press the ps3 start key which has no equivalent on my samsung remote. i suppose it's rather unlikely but does anyone know of hidden samsung codes (efcs) that might do ...

i created key moves for shift-audiohelp/videohelp and shift-skipback/fwd, assigning an efc in rm. they work from device modes and also in macros that i have assigned to the watchtv/movie buttons.
assigning the key-move via 994-code also works, but only if i don't have any shift keys assigned through ...

shift keys work fine on my 7960 BUT they are inaccessible from the watchtv/movie/music modes, just like macros are inaccessible. in device modes they work fine and also inside macros

ok i just figud out that the underlying protocol is the same as for the one for all light control kit. i just encoded the signals a bit differently than the existing upgrade for the light kit and made the protocol upgrade without using assembler code. but if you tweak the obc you can get the same ...

it's a way to distinguish repeated button presses from a long button press that was interrupted by, for example, a hand. it has the advantage that if the first frame is not received for some reason it can still react to a repeated button press, unlike a system that sends a different first frame than ...

ELRO AB601 (and others, intertechno, düwi, ...)

i uploaded a device upgrade including protocol upgrade (for my jp1.4 urc-7960, but should work with other s3c8x) for my ELRO AB601 RF controlled wall plugs (these are equivalent to other elro/intertechno using house code M-P and device 13/14). if you change the obc codes accordingly you should be ...

you're right, when i add the segment flags all works fine. i tried recreating the problem after a master reset on the remote, but no luck. i'll post it if i should figure out how i managed to break it the first time :)

it's working, but i found a new bug, this time in remotemaster (i suppose). i learned a few signals, downloaded them from the remote, edited a device, reuploaded the whole thing and noticed that half the learned signals were gone. when i re-download they're also missing.

here's what i uploaded ...

extender idea

if it already exists, ignore my post :)

would it be possible to write an extender that remembers the IR protocol toggle bit per device instead of globally? specifically, i have an 7960 and on the watch tv activity when i click

- ok (which goes to my sat receiver)
- volume up (amplifier)
- ok (sat ...

it's working now with my prolific usb/serial! still not working with the onboard com-port but i suppose that doesnt matter (and i cant send you the log because i cant pass on a physical com port to the 32bit VM).

thank you for the quick work-around!
