Good to know, thanks! I don't mind rebuilding everything, especially since it sound like the new file will be backward compatible with my older version remotes.

I have several versions of this Inteset remote, and I recently bought two of the INT-422-3 version. When I try to upload my RMIR file (previously developed on my 422-1 or 422-2 remotes) to the new remote, I get an error that says "writeRemote returned -1". I've run into this same error previously ...

As unclemiltie said, that RDF does also work with Inteset 422-2 ...

I got it working using the link to the 422-1 RDF posted above. I was using an older version of the original 422 RDF dated 11/7/14. Thanks for the help!

Unless there's an easier way, I'd like to create a new RDF for this remote. I downloaded the raw memory and posted it in the diagnostics area here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=13581

I bought 4 inteset remotes in hopes of replacing my non-backlit Insignia remotes. I downloaded the latest RDU file and started my build using the same remote upgrade files I used with the Insignia remotes. I can't get a single device to work. Am I missing something? Do I have to build my own ...

Does anyone have a reliable source for a backlit Insignia or Nexus remote. I re-read the last few pages of this thread and didn't see anything so I resorted to googleing NS-RC02U-10A, which is the model number of the last backlit Insignia I was able to order from MCM.
