IRTool set up

I have usually found this forum to be very helpful and thorough so I hope I didn't miss something obvious here. I made several attempts at getting the IRTool to work before I finally discovered you have to have the DecodeIR.dll located in the same directory. If it is mentioned in any documentation I ...

Thanks for the quick reply Rob. This forum (imho) is one of the best I've used.

I have tried that file. I'm pretty sure I did everything right. I've done some fairly sophisticated programming before.

They've got a decent price on the set and it meets my criteria otherwise. I may have to consider ...

Discretes for Sharp LCD

I have been considering getting a Sharp 40 series TV. One of the models (32D43) I'm looking at is on sale through Saturday. I hate to bring a toad into my system but haven't been able to make the stuff I've found in the forum work on these sets. It's a bit difficult when you have to take your remote ...

I guess I should have read it closer. It does say that it is in units of 0.4 seconds. I kind of assumed it would work like the 2117. I didn't know it used the LED blink though. That kind of threw me. Maybe tomorrow I'll get a chance to play around with it. Thanks again. :)

I have uploaded my IR file to the diagnostics area. It is called 6012.IR.

I have put a key move for the pause on the TV/Menu button. When the menu button is pushed the remote locks up and you have to remove the batteries to correct it. I get the same results when I use the keymove in a macro.

Pause on 6012 3.1 extender

I've had to use pauses with my system before in my extended 2117 remote to make some things work. Now I am setting up a 6012 and have the same problems and want to add pauses. When I add a pause to a macro the remote "locks up" and the LED flashes at about two times a second. I have even tried just ...

Keymap Master and 6012w

Okay...I got my eeproms (thanks Rob). Now I want to use Keymap Master to add device upgrades. When I go to select my remote it is not in the list. Am I missing something or doesn't the Keymap work with my remote? :?
