right, i give up, ive tried allsorts and im not really sure exactly what im doing here being a remote newbie, but nothing works on the programming side of it. I get get the TV to do the basics of volume and channels but thats it. :x

ive also tried the urc-8204 and get exactly the same problem. Its like the tv isnt set to accept the 00018 command or am i completely misunderstanding the way these things work?
