If anyone is interested in a parallel JP1 interface, it's yours for the cost of shipping. I built it myself from someone's plans (the IC is CD74HCT125E) and it's worked fine for me for many years.

Unfortunately when I upgraded my desktop I lost my parallel port and then found out the USB/parallel ...
