The remote keeps track of status of temperature, fan, mode etc. except energy save which is learned on the 1 key and seems consistent.

There is another key that sends a consistent code, display. I have learned on 3 and updated the upload. Power off (2) also looks consistent.

Pressing any of the ...

The 1 key has the only toggle, I'm hoping to find others.
The 2 key is power off, but likely includes multiple settings as is common on AC units.

Hi guys,

I've run unto another A/C device that decodes in IRScope as 48-NEC2.

The executor above looks close, but when loaded into the Nevo, decodes as 48-NEC. It shows the right device/subdevice but doesn't activate the A/C.

Is there a slight change that could be made to the executor? I'd be ...

This is the URC-7980. I'm pretty certain it won't work but I wanted to test my segmented remotes and see if any of them have undocumented/undiscovered support.

RMIR MultiMacro

What needs to be done in order for the latest RMIR to show the MultiMacro button? In the RDF I've added segment $02 to the list and the [MultiMacros] section after [Buttons] but I must still be missing something.

The short answer is no, BUT:

Your original remote has to be doing this one of two ways:

Either it is repeating the OK signal and the box recognizes this, in which case the Xsight will work the same way,

Or, OK is sending a different signal after being held for a couple of seconds and released ...

The RDF included with 2.14.4 seems correct. Assuming it hasn't changed since then we are good as far as I'm concerned. I would just caution against restrictions being added to any RDF without confirmation of the behavior.

I could not figure out what it's doing when you use the POWER search or a button search, because nothing changes in the download.

Yes, I have had weird behavior from commands being sent between devices over HDMI-CEC, recently even. Handy in some cases, though, such as Fire Stick.

Thanks for posting the solution, it will probably help someone else.

OK, I had a little time to play with this.

First, note that my remote is a 7 9 80, not a 7880. I doubt there is much difference, but I don't know this for sure.

-In a device mode, MAGIC then any key works as expected, sends defined shifted function.
-MAGIC,MAGIC, then number key also works ...

Sorry for any confusion, don't take anything I've said as gospel until I can experiment and confirm it, and I won't have time for that until probably next week.

I have changed TVs and I'm not sure the receiver ever worked completely with this remote. The RDF has also changed since I loaded the ...

OK, I'm not sure if that limit should exist either (I think I've used shifted keys in a macro on a device button-would have to test to be sure), but that isn't what Simon's trying to do. Looks to me like he's just trying to fire shifted keys. Which work if you're on a device, but not if you're in an ...
