Thank ya Dave. I ll write it down some where, but I looked at the 1377 code in RM and it says menu function is assigned to menu key, when it really active, just an FYI. Maybe you or someone can correct it? In the RM for 1377 code, it lists no function called active.

Discrete codes for D10/D11 DirecTV
A long time ago, I had the 1377 code downloaded into my remote from OFA, when I did, I had 1 problem, the menu button was assigned the active button function. I had to do a key move or assign an advanced code for the correct menu function, it was so long ago, I don't remember how I did it.

Thank You
I GOT IT! I just wanted to thank all who helped me over the last few days through this process. I did what I said above, making 1 wav for key moves, and 1 for the upgrades. It worked beautifully. I have my DTV 1377 code back in the remote, the full feature code from my receiver in the remote (code ...

Above ir file
Mark,
hmmm, there should be 4 key moves as those 4 keys are not properly assigned for some reason, also I moved 2 others to match how I currently had it set. I also posted another ir file with the 1377 code and 1074 codes in it. Maybe you or some one could review it for any possible errors that ...

Merge
OK, so are you saying its possible key moves in the wave file may have confused the remote? And now I made this file, ( https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=7189 ) I think its correct, but I merged the 8020 upgrade with the (1377 code) for my DirecTV box. How should I ...

Whew
Thanks Rob, that's a relief, I was worried I hosed it somehow, but wasn't fully convinced I did. So back to the original problem, I don't mean to sound repetitive, I know I am, lol. I need to merge the wav files? Now 2ndly, what did I do wrong to get the E2 memory corrupted, so as I won't do it ...

ooops
Ok, even though the upgrade didn't work, it wiped out my setup, not a huge deal, except I have to re-upgrade for my DirecTV box (1377 code) so, to get this done do I need to merge both upgrades into 1 wav? Now when I try to do the upgrade, I can't press select for it to start, it says error. I tried ...

Hey Rob, thank you for your quick response, and no. I think I was missing a step, after I tell it to upgrade, I had to press select again for the led indicator to light up, after doing that, and the sound plays, the led flickers (I'm guessing as an indicator its receiving) but when it finishes it ...

8910 wav further help
Ok, I started this thread ( https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=79449#p79449 ) I have 2 wav files created but when I try to do the upgrade the remote doesn't respond while the sound was playing. It just eventually exits setup. What might I be doing wrong? Also I had 1 upgrade loaded ...

8910 JVC RX-8020
Hello,
Ok, 3FG. I'm a little lost on how you mean to make a small upgrade of just the 175 device codes using RM. I went thru the tutorials, it shows how to make an upgrade from scratch, and to upload a whole upgrade. It doesn't show how to pick and choose functions you would like to create an ...

Hello, actually, the above listed 800 number is incorrect. I called it, and they had no idea what One For all was. Audiovox has apparantly, and unfortunatly bought OFA out, as customer service for OFA is now garbage. The only thing they offer is an email address for support, which provides no way to ...
