I just pulled up the file to program my remote, and it's not working, not sure why...

update, after hours and hours of trial and error. i loaded an extender and got things working how i like them to.

is the 8910 capable of having macros on a device select button without using an extender, or must an extender be used?

I want to be able to hit say the DVD button and have that button send the discrete device code for HDMI1 to my TV so that i don't have to manually switch over the TV input to DVD ...

seems that the 8910 is a jp1 not a jp 1.2 remote, this is why i was getting my problem :/
