Got it!
I realized that the Hopper was prompting me to use the Recall button to delete in some places but to use the Blue button in others.

The new remotes have no Blue button so I just automatically used the Recall.

Once I programmed the Blue button (OBC 35) into my 6131, it worked fine.

Thanks ...

I had set the OBC 27 code to the Prev button on my remote.
It works fine in the places where you want to recall the previous channel but does not work in the places where Dish is using that button as a delete.

Need Hopper 3 Recall Code - 54.1 remote

I recently got a Hopper 3 and got the Hopper 3 codes from the file section entered into my URC-6131B00 remote.

Everything is working well except for the recall button. Since this doubles as a delete button, it would be very helpful to have.

I was hoping someone had found the code for this.

Thanks ...

URC 6131 B00

Capn Trips
I'd like the URC 6131 B00's if they are still available.
How do we set it up?

Thanks,
Walt

I sure didn't phrase that very well. I'll start over.

I have upgrade (RMDU) files. The SAT file is the one you pointed out. It's working great.

The files for the TV and HK I created with a learning remote.
As far as I can tell, they are both working as they should.
I uploaded them to the diagnoses ...

I have this same issue so I'm hoping to revive this old thread.

My remote is a URC-6131b00.
The TV is a Sony XBR-49X900E and has toggle power.
The SAT is a Genie HR-44 and has discrete on/off.
The AUD is a Harman Kardon AVR 1510S and also has discrete on/off.

Everything turns on fine with the ...

From what I could see, the rubber button is filled through and through with carbon. Pretty much the same thing for the pc traces.

It didn't just work, it worked incredibly well. The old 6131 hasn't been this crisp and responsive since it was new.

Since nobody else suggested anything, I decided to try sandpaper. Yup, sandpaper. I disassembled my worst remote, and sanded both the pc board and the rubber keys. I used a small patch of 2000 grit and dressed the board and keys just enough to remove any shiny bits. Worked brilliantly. All ...

Keyboard cleaning tips?

I've been cleaning my keyboards by washing the rubber half with all purpose cleaner, rinsing with water and blowing them dry with an air hose.

The printed circuit board I wipe down with alcohol.

Over the years, this has become less effective. Does anyone have any tricks to put the snap back in them?

Ok, now I get you. None of the remotes I use have the red, green, yellow, blue buttons so the question wasn't registering.

I had tried the red button thinking it might do the same thing and didn't have any success. I tried it again after reading your suggestion and it worked just as it should. :P ...

First, regarding the discrete on/off. After messing about a bit, I have it working just fine. I had assigned it to TV/VID. It doesn't like that button. Once I assigned it to a different button, all is good.

As far as the red delete button is concerned, none of the upgrades seem to have it and my ...

Genie HR-44 and the Off and Delete Buttons

This may have been discussed, but I couldn't find it.

I programmed my old 6131 to talk to my new Genie hr-44. I used the one upgrade that specifically mentions the hr-44 and it worked splendidly for everything but the discrete off and delete buttons. The discrete on worked just fine, the off did ...
