JP1 Remotes

There used to be a Slingplayer for IOS but Sling withdrew it from the App Store at the time of the shutdown so it is not now available.

I have to be honest, I have completely forgotten how to change the repeat value on Custom Remotes. I can recall it was something in the normal software. Sorry about that.

How have you kept your Slingbox working ? I managed to keep my Slingbox M1 running locally ...

I've been pleasantly surprised to find that the Desktop Player and my Slingbox M1 are still working in Direct Mode. That is really all I need as I don't travel around much these days.

Sorry, I hadn't noticed the threads were connected. In that case I have already offered a solution.

I have a list of the 1200+ remotes I built. If you know the Protocol (NEC?) and the device number and a few OBCs I can probably find one that will work for you. You would have to install it using a PC and it won't have the correct skin but it would at least get you going.

No more ideas I'm afraid.

It doesn't matter where/how you installed it, all the details are stored in the Slingbox. I would install the latest Slingplayer Desktop on a PC and connect to the Slingbox. It should then download the skin to the PC.
