I have a Macro programmed already, but when the TV is turned Off and then On again it always starts (for this matter) in Channel 3 (which is where the dish is tuned)...even if I turn it Off while in the S-video.

6131-JP1 / Program for S-Video

Not sure this is the correct place, but...is there a way to program a Master-On so that it will switch the TV on in the S-Video mode, as oppose to a "standard" channel?

Thank you.

No, I haven't done that yet.
But, I think I read somewhere (or maybe I was dreaming) about a way to change the timing of a macro...?!

No, it is not the internal delay of the HT (from the time it is turned on till it is actually "active"), what I am refering to is that there is a delay of about two seconds between the signal that is sent to the TV (and turns the TV on) and the next signal that is sent to the HT.
BTW - same on the ...

Newbie. Help with 6131 and Macro please.

I am using URC-6131 JP1 enabled, Apex TV and a Panasonic DVD changer/HT system. I "locked" the volume to the HT and the remote is on SAT device all the time. I set up a "Master Power" so it first turn the TV on and then the HT system.
My problem is that there is a slight delay from the time the TV ...

Need recommendation for a remote

Can someone please recommend a remote control...does not have to be JP1 ready (although it wouldn't hurt :) ) but must have at least the following three functions:

1. Master Power / Macro
2. Volume lock
3. Very important - must have the ability to program a key to function as a
"-/--" key (unless ...

Thank you! That's what I thought - programming (code) 207 to any available button if the remote does NOT have the "-/--" built in, correct?

Does that mean the Advanced Code 207 must be programmed to a different button if the "-/--" is not originally there?

Remote for a single-digit channel Sonty TV

I have a Sony TV that accepts single-digit channel, that is - you press 2, the TV immediately goes to channel 2 (assuming there is no cable/DBS box involved). The original remote has a double-dash button in order to enter a two-digit channel, so if you need channel 23 you would press the double-dash ...
