I am selling my stack of JP1 enabled remotes. Although it pains me it is time that they go. They are all in excellent condition and have seen minimal use. Some were enabled by Rob himself.

Thanks!
Thanks to all who replied. I ended up going with the extender. It was just easier.
Added the two devices customized for the set of functions I wanted available (basically deleted a bunch of EFC's, and mapped them to the appropriate buttons on RM). Then I added my macros in IR so regardless of which ...

Simple Question - Easy Answer?
After working through the remote to control my HT (6131 with extender(, I have it working most of the way that I want.
Now I need a simple remote for my wife. I am planning to use a 6012 without extender. She does not want to deal with the whole HT setup, just the TV for volume, and cable box for ...

VPT Question
I am setting up a 6131 with extender, and I have my VPT set for AUD. I removed the V_ command on the 6 device keys for the macros. But I still want to control the tv volume on the shifted volume keys for my sony tv.
I added a keymove on the shifted Vol+ and Vol- but it still does not control the TV ...

Follow Up - Macro Question
If macros are not device specific (unless creating a DSM bound to a key move), then does that mean if I assign a macro to a button (for example the '1' key), then regardless of what device is active that macro will always execute when pressing the '1' key.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Macros - Newbie Question
I just want confirmation on a few items with Macros.
I want to set up a simple all power off macro regardless of which device button is selected. The discrete Power Off code has been put on shift Power for every device. I am thinking I would bind the macro to the Power Key and create a macro that ...

I am using a 6131 with the Extender. I have created/modified device upgrades for some of my components:
NAD T742

Motorola DTC 2000
And I am usinng some built in codes for other components.
Specifically, I am using a basic Sony TV using Device Code 0000, and I want to add the ...

Still Have a question
Here's the section from the 6131 extender readme about shift:
Using xshift you can have up to three key moves on other keys by having an unshifted keymove, a shifted keymove, and an xs-keymove.
I read the manual that you quoted, but I don't understand where I enter the EFC's for the xs-keymove ...

Alt shift
Thanks. I thought it was a second set of shifts.
So you could map a key to the 1 button
Another key to the shift 1 button
and a third key to Alt 1 button (with alt being a seperate shift key).
I thought you could reassign the shift button, and add another alt button for shifting that is a ...
