Thanks for all the help!

First I tried all the EFC codes in 0060 with the word input in their description. Most did nothing, and a couple of them did toggles.

The I tried the (1)0702 setup code, and as suggested its not found in the irc-9910.

Then I tried the EFC's from the 10702 description for ...

I'm afraid I'm confused by several things.

First, I don't think I can use the Samsung device referenced earlier, it has a 5 digit setup code and my URC-9910 only has 4 digit setup codes.

Even so it looks like the 0060 setup code I have been using has some EFC's for input1, input2, etc which might ...

Yes, I want two different HDMI's and 1 Component, and there are labels in that listing that seem appropriate.

What I'm running in the URC is a download that I constructed years ago, and not having a cable used the audio method to install it in the URC. It's been so long ago that I no longer have ...

TV Brands with direct source selection

My old HD TV broke and I'm in the market for a new 37-40" 1080P LCD. I really value being able to program my JP1 remote to do direct source selection. It's really difficult to tell if a given TV has this feature, since they often don't supply a remote with the feature even if the set is capable, and ...

URC 9910 Failure

My URC 9910 suddenly has flaked out. The device codes are wrong and some buttons don't even send ir signals. This happened shortly after a battery change, not sure if it was immediate.

I thought I could recover by re-downloading the image I use. However, when I press the download button on the 9910 ...

I'm using rmaster and ir.

Doesn't work meant, that ir was happy, and I tested the downloaded image. The macro that invoked db-09 had no effect.

The rdf file I'm using with ir is

CPT0CPT0 (URC-8910(Old)_9910(Old)_8910(New)_9910(New)_HTPro).rdf

which has

It seemed to me that the easiest way for me to get my extra device button was to associate the new device with db-09 and create a macro for shift-cable with the single key db-09.

This doesn't work and I don't know why. If the macro picks another real device key that works, but with db-09 it does ...

Actually, I'm not familiar with the multiplexor special protocol. Can you suggest a good reference.

Let me elaborate on my issue. I have serveral Tivo's using up different device keys. Do I need to use a multiplexor special protocol to consolidate them and change the unit code?

another device key on urc9910?

Is it possible to have more than 8 device keys on a urc9910? I see in ir a list of "db-" keys, but don't know what they are.

I want my volume lock on a urc9910 set to "TV", but every time I download an image the setting goes back to unlocked. How do I set this in "IR"?

Evan

Which Olevia model and firmware do you have? Mine is a 532H B12 running A33-10 firmware which is the latest I can find for my model.

I tried the codes you found and they don't do anything on my set.

I did go ahead and test all 256 OBC's and the only non standard ones I found were
