You must be thinking of the serial port, both parallel ports don't provide option for speed. However IR804 has setting for transmission speed, I have tried that too

It must be a windows 11 thing, I have even tried setting my compatibility to windows 7/8, and executed as an admin.

Thanks for this, yes I have tried all of your suggestions including the "Enable Legacy detection" unfortunately its the same using IR804.exe and RMIR no remotes found.

Yes I tried IR.exe first up, makes sense that it doesn't work on 64bit systems because that option and the serial option is greyed out.

I installed my parallel/serial card, it seems to work in windows but not with RMIR software....I have provided you with a dropbox link with snapshots of my control panel. There are 2 X LP ports LPT1 & LPT3 I have provided settings for both.
