I think your remote has a HCS08 processor where those upgrade files have manual upgrades for the S3C8+ remotes. I suspect these were created before the OrtekMCE protocol was included in the protocol.ini files. So, I am wondering whether or not you've tried using the OrtekMCE protocol which is built ...

Were you trying to load a .rar file? I refer you to the text below the File Upload box:

This file have the rdf I used and the ir file I uploaded to the remote with the protocol and the device configured.

The RDF (10181018) for your remote implies that it is a learning remote, is this true? If so, could you try learns some buttons from your VRC-1100 remote and then post the resulting IR file so we can see what codeset it uses.

Assuming that it does use the same codeset as the upgrade that you tried ...

Hello,
Im trying to add support for this device in so I can have the computer controlled from my main remote. I read a few threads and at the end decide to give it a go but the keys are not recogniced.

1505 is my for the TV button. I programmed it for my Sony TV. So I will change the DVD button to a known code and see wich code is the other. Then i will change it to another code.

I didnt know I could change the STB button to a TV code for example.

I would like to edit the settings from IR but till i know how can i do all that i thought maybe i could find out the protocol and make a better lircd.conf.

Thanks for trying. The remote has a TV, STB, AUX. The STB is locked and its the button im using for my mythtv box. I wanted to make a better lircd.conf for it. With this almost works. Only sometimes some keys gets confused.

How can i find out wich protocols uses a remote ?

I have the lircd.conf file for this remote created with irrecord. But irrecord could not find wich protocol used and only dumped it in raw codes format
