I've been out of the JP1 picture for a while now and thought I'd catch up a bit.
I just wanted to check with you all as to what are some of the newer how-to's and guides that you guys are using to setup that perfect remote?
I was trying to setup my 9910 but got so bogged down with the toad/tog ...

daveoram - thanks for taking a shot at this. However, the IR signal works perfectly. It is the RF base station where I am having problems with. I'm not sure whether it is the signal from remote to base (RF) or the signal from base to devices (IR).

RF Quality of HTPro (9910)
Hi All,
I wanted to ask you how your range was with the RF extender that comes with the 9910 remotes. I hooked everything up that came with my HTPro and let me tell you that it is not good at all. To make it work, I basically have to hold the remote right in front of the extender black screen and ...

Aren't RDF files only for RM software? I am using KM where I am using the Load function to load the text file I have found for my devices. I am at work right now and I don't have access to the text files and so I'm not sure yet. But, is that something I can add in the text file? Also, is there a way ...

Thanks Nils_Ekberg.
I don't think I explained my question very well for phantom buttons.
I want to put most of the discrete commands into the phantom buttons for the devices. However, I can't find the phantom buttons in the "Key" dropdown in IR. I'm not sure if this is specific for my remote (9910 ...

Alright gjarboni -
First off, can you please tell me what do I do with the advanced codes? Do they go into the KM spreadsheet or do I plug them somewhere in IR?
I have already looked at the advanced codes and found just the things/functions I needed. But then I was lost. I have advanced codes for ...

Please help with my devices
Hi All.
Ok - I have read as much as I can (documents, messages, etc) but I just can't find something general enough to help me here. I also noticed that you guys get a lot of these kinds of questions and I hope you wouldn't mind one more.

Error when trying to connect to the remote
First off, I have read the document but probably missed the one point for which I now have need of your help.
I got my remote and made my interface myself. I ran the ir.exe without connecting the remote and did the interface test. I saw the message "No response from the remote..." - which told me ...
