your right johnsfine, I assumed the ops reset reset everything. Did a search and found the correct procedure for doing a factory reset and now I don't have to delete any rdf files.
I`ll see if I can return the help I've gotten here and upload my toshiba 47' lcd tv that has discrete power codes ...

just checked that- I had a both an extended and normal rdf in my rdf directory and it kept using the extended one. I deleted it and all is good now.

That worked great for the power. I just added the OBC codes to a couple of unused buttons in KM and added them to the upgrade.
No luck with the input scource discretes though. I checked the pioneer site too and all they list is the power discretes . I guess I`m out of luck on that unless someone has ...
